BSDBox with Plank by UNIXwz0r BSDBox with Plank by UNIXwz0r
I took out the shadow effect with compton composite, and basicly add plank dock at the bottom.  With the shadow it gave a weird look to the plank dock, and besides I don't really need shadows under stuff anyhow. It looks simple, works good and quite lightweight.  Will soon make a FreeBSD based distro out of this desktop look and feel.  As of right now i'm making a C installer script to just run once and setup the freebsd base to this desktop extactly how you see here.

thanks man, it works like OS X with the mouse scrolling, and how the close, min, and max is on the left side having plank dock at the bottom.. so it is much like the feel of how os x work, but of course its not os x.  I always like os x dock and their panel and global menus which is the lack of what any Open Source OS has.

Oh well maybe someday OS X will be also for PC who knows.. i always would like that as i really like Darwin, as it is a part of the BSD family and it is also a very great UNIX system.

Nextbsd is becoming much more like darwin since it is using a lot of darwin features.  I hope nextbsd will release stable release or release version of freebsd based, current is ok, but quite buggy, and its what keeping me away from it now. I use FreeBSD 10.2-RELEASE because its a very solid stable base.  I wish i can use launchd and notifyd and mach ipc on freebsd release :( sadly we can't now.
